Yellow Tone has been serving the greater Los Angeles area since 2020. Founded by Kyle Donald and Jarren Heidelberg—both seasoned AV technicians and professional musicians—Kyle and Jarren have seen firsthand the benefits and pitfalls of the live event industry. Too often, large companies overcharge while delivering lackluster results, prioritizing expensive gear over the event’s true vision and atmosphere.
Our philosophy is simple: the gear should serve you, not the other way around. We want to provide fair and honest pricing to create experiences that are designed with people in mind.

Kyle Donald
Yellow Tone AV was co-founded by Kyle Donald—an experienced live sound engineer, AVL technician, and mixing specialist working in premium spaces like presidential campaigns, Netflix, Paramount Studios, Disney, TV Academy, to private events at Steven Spielberg’s beach house.
With deep expertise on industry-standard equipment and technical wherewithal, Kyle understands the demands of live shows from the inside out, being intimately aware of the challenges and frustrations that arise when events fall off course.
On top of his live work, Kyle brings strong communication and interpersonal skills to every space—having worked with high profile names, CEOs, Grammy-winning artists and well known actors. This crossover of technical skill and social understanding ensures every event sounds as polished as it looks.
Jarren Heidelberg
Co-Founder Jarren Heidelberg brings a unique blend of creativity and strategy to Yellow Tone AV. With a background in live music performance and a sharp eye for business and finance, he ensures every event run smoothly both on stage and behind the scenes.
As a touring musician, Jarren understands the nuances of live production from the organizers perspective—allowing Yellow Tone AV to approach every show with both technical precision and personal sensitivity. His experience managing budgets in fast-paced business environments adds a layer of operational strength to the company’s foundation.
From overseeing logistics and vendor coordination to ensuring client satisfaction and sustainable growth, Jarren plays a key role in making Yellow Tone AV a trusted partner for small businesses, weddings, and live events.
